As part of a growing collaboration with Picantinny Arsenal, Rutgers University has been awarded $4.9M for a three-year project to design and construct a new hypersonic facility to be housed on Busch Campus.  This single-PI effort is led by Assistant Professor Edward DeMauro, who will also use these resources towards enhancing data collection within the existing Emil Buehler supersonic wind tunnel.  The new hypersonic facility, termed an “expansion tube,” will be one of only a few currently at universities within the United States, and the only hypersonic facility at a public unive

President Holloway recently met with representatives from the Rutgers RPL team. The students had the opportunity to discuss the design of their rocket, along with their upcoming competition while the president signed the rocket. In attendance at this event were Professors Diez, DeMauro, and Baruh, along with Dean Cuitino.

Parameshwaran Pasupathy, a fourth year Ph.D. student won 3rd place in the student poster competition held during the Michigan Institute for Computational Discovery and Engineering (MICDE) symposium at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor on March 24th, 2023. The symposium entitled, “Emerging and Future Paradigms for High Performance Computing” welcomed a distinguished group of scientists in scientific computing from around the world and included more than 60 student posters.
