Undergraduates conducting research in MAE labs received three of the highly selective Chancellor’s Awards which honor the outstanding achievements of students and organizations on the New Brunswick Campus.
Ethan Catalanello (ME Class of 2021) and Catherine Nachtigal (ME Class of 2022) won two of the three Research Excellence Awards for “high-quality research which exhibits critical thinking, analysis, and creativity.” Shivam Patel (Physics Class of 2022) won one of three Champion of Teaching and Learning Awards for “engaging inside and outside of the classroom while creating learning opportunities for their peers.” Ethan and Shivam’s awards were for activities conducted in the lab of Prof. Stephen Tse, while Catherine’s research was conducted in the lab of Prof. Jonathan Singer.
